In this beginner friendly workshop, you will:

• Learn step by step from a professional ceramic artist in a relaxed, creative environment.

• Hand build up to three unique ornaments from scratch using recycled clay.

• Choose from a selection of cutouts or try freeform shaping with guided instructions and demonstrations.

• Decorate your ornaments using recycled clay slips, upcycled underglazes, stamps, carving tools, and wax resist sgraffito techniques.

• Finish each piece with your choice of limited edition, upcycled glaze colors, with one color per piece.

• Explore sustainable ceramic techniques using local and recycled materials.

What's included:

• All clay, clay slips, tools, aprons, and materials needed.

• Step by step instruction and demonstrations from a skilled ceramic artist.

• Kiln firings for all finished pieces.

• Up to three handmade ornaments per person.

Good to know:

• No pottery experience needed. Just come ready to get creative and a little muddy!

• Finished pieces will be ready for pickup at Wild One Boutique within 5 to 6 weeks of the workshop.

• Holiday pickup deadline: December 20, 2026, or sooner, making these handmade ornaments perfect for holiday gift giving.

• Ages 10 and up are welcome! Children need to be accompanies by an adult.

• Your choice of limited edition and upcycled glaze colors for final firing (one colour per piece)

Tickets are non refundable due to advance material preparation, but you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend if you can’t attend.
